Hi, I am looking for help to realize the electronic command for my cruising hovercraft, (see reduced size photo). Note that this is about controlling a real hovercraft, not a model. It should move 4 step motors (Nema 23-27) alliteratively by the joystick: UP/DOWN ; LEFT/ RIGHT by the seem signal. I just lack of the knowledge of programming. The realization can be inspired by the joint design.
Thank you. Regards,
Stevan

Hi,
Why do you want to make programming with a special uC (Atmel or other) ?
You could use a standard receiver, connected to ESC to control the motor speed and a servo for the direction ?
I suppose there is 2 motor here, one for putting up, one for pushing. Each one can be command with different ESC. For the direction, you must have some flap on the pushing air ? These flaps can be manage by a servo.
Overall, your model can be handle with a normal receiver, 2 esc and one servo.
Not easier ?
