pawns without contact
I would like small objects like pawns on a chessboard that is recognized by the program: I think the rfid but it's 64 rfid receiver !! magnets !! tacks below the object (6 x combinations nails so), but not easy to achieve. Do you have any ideas ? I have about 10 small objects. thanks you Jennifer

Use a multi-touch capable touch screen. Or a chessboard with pushbuttons under each field.
Our kids used to have a large baby toy house with an electronic bear that said different things depending on where you placed it in and around the house. The trick was a circular pattern on the bottom of the bear and circular structures on the house that would activate different pushbuttons depending on where you put it. Very simple and very clever. Go to the toy store and try to find one of those houses for inspiration.
