Powerful and often free tools are now available for carrying out complex projects. For this project, I used:
- KiCad for designing the printed circuit boards. An excellent free open-source software
- Fusion 360 for 3D modeling. Free, with some limitations, for non-commercial use
- A 3D printer to produce parts designed with Fusion 360
I built the turntable’s enclosure using traditional woodworking techniques.
